The Rolling Hills Primary School community is committed to the development of each child as an independent, creative and collaborative learner in a safe, stimulating and enriching environment.  Our Parents and Friends committee together with our School Council encourage a close relationship wth parents and families as well as involving our students to support and continually improve.

  • Our caring staff ensure that there are many fun activities in which all the children can participate. Afternoon tea is served during the pm sessions.

  • What is a School Council?

All government schools in Victoria have a school council.  The school council is the group of people who are given the power to set the key directions for the school. This means that school council can directly influence the quality of education that a school provides to its students.  School council also makes sure that the school is running effectively in terms of how it spends its money and the guidelines it makes for how the school is to work.

  • Rolling Hills Primary School has a Parents & Friends Association.  We exist to encourage and build relationships between parents, families and the school community. We support the staff and school by providing practical assistance & rewards for activities and assist the whole school by fundraising.  The children love it when their families are involved!

  • It has been the policy at Rolling Hills to encourage parent participation in school programs to maximize educational outcomes for children and to provide parents with a greater awareness and understanding of the school’s functioning.

  • Canteen Open: Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

Canteen open for parents and visitors for a freshly brewed LAVAZZA coffee (cappacino, latte, long black, chai latte, hot chocolate and tea) between:
    9.00am - 3.30pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Our Canteen ordering is done online via 'My School Connect', using your PC, laptop, tablet or phone at  Please see the following flyer for information on setting up and account and placing orders online.

  • Working Bees are arranged each Term by the School Council with the object of maintaining and improving our grounds and buildings. Without parent support at these Working Bees, the school would quickly become uninviting and our pride in our school would suffer. We would greatly appreciate your time and tools and look forward to enjoying these community events throughout the year.
